Getting bigger, happier, smarter and more amazing

It's so strange to say that Adia is 6 months old already!!

She's getting so big and more and more amazing everyday....WE LOVE HER SO VERY MUCH!!

Adia's 6 month stats are
Weight ~ 14.14 lb....25th percentile
Height ~ 26.5 inches...75th percentile
Head....50th percentile

She's definitely staying consistent with her growth percentages
Tall like daddy and slim and trim...well I don't know where that comes from...me someday SOON! lol

She loves her life!
And I love our lives with her in it!

She's my best girl friend.
We have so much fun together and I love that she's so goofy and loves to laugh!
If only she would of taken her hand out of her mouth for just a second...

Very silly all the time..she takes nothing seriously

She loves to go to the gym she gets sooooo much attention there all of the trainers are OBSESSED with her..they want to get a onesie for her to wear so she can be their mascot.

She loves to play!
All of her toys are her favorite toys..if one gets boring there's always another that makes her happy

She's soooo smart and picks things up really quick.
We usually have to show her once and she's got it down.

She still doesn't really cry EVER but she has a new thing where if she really wants something she will screech at me really loud

She loves bedtime stories with daddy and listens so actively
SO CUTE!

We took her to the pool for her first time about a week ago and she LOVED it!
She's such a bathing beauty

She can't sleep without being swaddled at bedtime STILL.
I love it and hate it all at the same time.
Usually at 6 months we move our babies to their room but because she's swaddled I don't want her in her room alone so she lucked out and gets to sleep close to mommy and daddy for a little longer.

Last Saturday was Adia's first St. Patrick's Day!!
St. Patrick's Day is a BIG deal in our house (LOVE my IRISH hubby!)
We dressed her up in her cutest GREEN...actually she had 3 outfits 2 she wore on the days leading up to Saturday and her actual St. Paddy's Day outfit and of course her St. Paddy's Day eve jammies!
It was a day of lots of fun we paraded her around so everyone could oooh and ahhh about her....really that just means we went to the grocery store and every older person stopped to see her like every other visit to the store.

Adis started using a sippy cup this week!
I'm not sure when she decided to get so big or that I let her but she is and she loves it.
Since I nurse she's never really had bottles and since she only needs it for water and the occasional juice the Dr. said to move straight to the sippy cup so there's no bottle issues later...couldn't agree more!!!
But I hate that she's so big already!!

What's a milestone birthday without a gift?!?!?
I've been wanting to make her something to hold her bows, headbands, and flowers and found this idea on pinterest. I really really like it it's so much easier to pick out what one she's going to wear and they are laying around everywhere or stuffed in a basket.

Next week we are doing her 6 month pictures!
I'm so excited about them..we have been planning them for months and just waiting on a few more things to get here for them.
She's cute no matter what but these are going to be AMAZING!!
I will definitely be posting pictures ASAP

I've already started planning her 1st birthday party...I know I'm crazy!!
I seriously can't wait.
I love that our birthdays are only 3 days apart.
My birthday falls on a Saturday this year and what better way to celebrate me but by celebrating her....ahhhhh I can't wait!
So many ideas are running through my head...

Adia is 5 months!

My sweet little baby is ALREADY 5 months!!!
I don't know where the time goes but I wish I could find it and slow it down just a little.

She's everything I ever dreamed of and truly an angel. She is so sweet, calm and quiet.
I can honestly say  I haven't not one time since she was born been frustrated with her. I hope I'm not jinxing myself by admitting that!

I guess she hasn't changed that much by these pictures to most people but I can definitely see the difference from 1 1/2 months, 3 months and 5 months...she's getting prettier and prettier :)

Her stats at her 4 month checkup last month were:

Weight ~ 12.4 lb ~ 25th percentile
Height ~ 24 in long ~ 75th percentile
Head ~ 50th percentile

I LOVE my petite girl with her little rolls on her thighs!

She's getting so big and doing so many new things.

The boys are loving watching her learn something new almost everyday AND she LOVES her brothers sososososo much everyday when they get home she greets them with the biggest most excited smile and always giggles.

She is a total daddy's girl and WILL NOT go to sleep until she's had her time with him every night...I seriously love how cute they are together! I love watching him with her he is the BEST daddy in the whole world and makes sure she knows how much she is loved each and every day and is constantly teaching her new things....he is AMAZING with her!!

She may be a daddy's girl BUT we are BEST FRIENDS!! I love how excited she gets when she wakes up and I am there...best feeling in the world. She's the best shopping buddy I could ask for. I love when I hold her she wants to hold my hand and that when we sleep she still wants to feel my breath.

Some of the things she has learned in the past couple of months are:

~ Rolling over...and over and over until she gets to where she's trying to go

~ She loves to play with her toys and grabs at EVERYTHING in her reach

~ She found her feet and loves to "eat" them..they are her most favorite toy right now

~ She's discovered Caesar and loves to grab at him
(he's so good with our babies :) )

~ She plays peek-a-boo with her daddy

~ She's tried and LOVES brown rice cereal
(I usually wait until 6 months but I was having issues with my milk and had to supplement)

~ She's always laughing...if you tickle her, talk to her or if you are laughing she will laugh too
SO CUTE!

~ She likes to "walk" around the room with daddy's help

~ She knows when she's getting her picture taken and poses for the camera
Her mothers daughter :)

~ Instead of sucking her thumb she prefers her fingers

She loves dressing up and I LOVE dressing her up!

 Adia loves her puppy

 Eating cereal..she couldn't get enough!
She looks so TEENY TINY in her highchair

I asked Dylan to grab her some socks and look what he picked!
Haha her monster feet socks...sooo funny and I am pretty sure she knew it was silly too!

 Layin on momma daydreamin'

She's so flexible I don't know how she gets that foot in her mouth

Hangin on the floor with momma

When we go anywhere she holds her little toy purse it's so cute!!!

Tasting momma's apple..yummmmmy!!

LOVE HER WITH EVERY PIECE OF MY HEART!

What time is it?? It's Dyl time!!!

Last month Jeff and I decided Dylan needed some just us time so we took him to the Disney on Ice Toy Story 3 performance!

We didn't tell him until we got there and were in line to get in...he was so excited!!!

We got really good seats so we could see everything perfectly. Each time a song ended he would say worried "is it over?!?!?!" he didn't want it to end.

It was so great to spend some time with just Dylan..he doesn't get that as much as he should and he hasn't at all since Adia was born (luckily he was ok with her tagging along :) ).

Dylan is already asking if we can do it again...I'd love to!
Although I think we will go to Disneyland instead! :)

Couldn't be prouder

Spring season for Little League starts in March and last week Trevor had try outs. I really hate that they have to try out it's such a big deal and so stressful for Trevor but he takes Baseball VERY seriously like his dad and he loves the whole process (he even went to bed early the night before!). We had just finished up Winter ball and his team finished undefeated and won the championship so he was feeling good about it.

The days leading up to try outs a few coaches contacted us and told us they were planning on picking Trevor they were all coaches he had played for so knew what he could do....I know that it sounds like I'm making a big deal about this but seriously Trevor is talented like unbelievably it's quite amazing to watch him play. He has his dads mind and baseball abilities and is very determined to do well and learn from his mistakes..great qualities I wish I had or could say he got from me.

So anyway there was one coach we really wanted Trevor to get on with but because of how it works during the draft the coaches pick in order from who draws first to last. The morning after the draft Jeff got emails from 2 of Trevors coaches from the past seasons and they told us that they didn't get him...they didn't even get a chance. Trevor was the FIRST pick of the entire league by all coaches and so the coach that drew to pick first got him. How amazing is that that he was chosen first?!?!?

We don't even know his coach and because of the situation he knew he was in by picking him he called Jeff personally before contacting any other players later in the week to talk to him. He explained to Jeff that everyone knows about Trevor and wanted him and had been watching him play for the past seasons when Trevors team played against his and was blown away by his abilities. He told Jeff that he was building his entire team around Trevor...what a huge honor for Trevor!

We are really excited for this coming season!

I'm especially excited for Dylan to start T-Ball!!! I can't wait to watch him play he's been waiting a VERY VERY loooong time for his turn!

Christmas

Christmas was great!
The kids not only went right to bed but slept in until 7:30! Thank goodness because Jeff and I were up until 4:30am! Yikes!!!
I made an executive decision when it comes to present wrapping and such on Christmas Eve after being delirious all day this Christmas. I'm going to pre wrap at least all the clothes.
When you have 4 kids it's not a quick and simple task so hopefully that makes it easier.
It's tradition to wrap everything on Christmas Eve after the kids have went to bed it's what my parents did and Jeff and I love doing it but if we can cut the time in half we will have the best of both worlds..not as tired on Christmas day but still have the tradition of wrapping presents (just not all of them).

The boys were so patient waiting for Adia to wake up and eat before we came downstairs

 Proud of all his presents
He's the best dressed and equipped baseball player in Little League now!

This was taken mid present opening
He had to stop so he could change from his Christmas pj's into a "cool kid outfit"
He cracks me up the things he does and says!

Post presents in some of his new clothes

2 presents in she was out like a light
Daddy and I had fun opening her presents for her while she slept so she had lots of energy to play with everything she got!

One of Adia's newest best friends
They have the same eyes.....love it!

 Lovin his leapster!

If you haven't played hedbanz YOU NEED TO!
It's so fun I'm glad Dylan asked for it for Christmas it's one of our favorite games!!

Playing with her new bouncy seat Grandma and Grandpa Stout got her for Christmas
She loves it!

It was a great Christmas
Lots of family time and activities

LOVE MY FAMILY
LOVE MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!

Zoo Lights

We went to see the Zoo Lights on Christmas Eve this year
I'm still not sure how I feel about that..
I felt like it was too rushed and WAY too crowded not to mention they charged full price even for members...dumb
And I had so much to do that's all I could think about the entire time
BUT it wore out the kids and they were all complaining of being tired before we even left and they were all asleep in less than a half hour once we go home ~ EVEN AJ!

So like I said I'm not sure how I felt about doing it on Christmas Eve
I guess we will see next year

I took this one for my mom...she's afraid of scorpions haha

This was pretty much all Adia did the entire time
But when she was awake she loved looking at the lights...SHE LOVES CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!

We just so happened to come up to the Zebra area during their dinner time and they were right up at the fence...the kids loved it!
 Jengo the talking Giraffe
Each year he tries to talk to Dylan and each year when he realizes it he gets super shy and his brothers have to talk for him

I LOVE MY FAMILY!!
And this picture is soooo Dylan haha...look closely!
