Here we are on the way to the farm

Pretty silly looking people aren't we?!

We got to pick as much lettuce that would fit in a bag!

YuMMm!

Meet Brownie the horse ~ he does NOT like to have visitors and was ready to chomp off anyone's head that came close to him

HAPPY HoPPitY Easter!

Play Time

I know.. I know... MORE DYLAN but he's just so dang cute! Plus in the next couple of weeks we are devoting a post to each kid called "a day in the life of...." So the world can see exactly what it is that each of our boys do in their own worlds. Until then here are some more pictures from my camera phone of Dylan ~ this time playing!

Cars... This is one of Dylan's top 3 favorite things to play with. And if it has a place to put things it's even better!

He got this yesterday as a Easter gift from Grandma Stout ~ Dylan's dream something to push around and put things in....we couldn't find the remote and I said "look in Dylan's cart" guess what ~ it was there! He walks around and puts anything he finds in this thing, if it's in the way it's going in the cart.

BALL...if only I could type it the way he says it! This is Dylan's FAVORITE thing to play with, anything round and especially if it bounces it's for Dylan. The Easter Bunny brought this to him ~ if only we would have gotten a shot of his expression when he saw it he walked around with it all around the house saying "ball, ball, ball...." So cute!

Basket Head! Notice that this is a BASEBALL basket ~ that is why he was playing with it and then well the rest is just Dylan being his silly self. This picture cracks us up everytime we see it!

Meal Time ~ YuMMmm

I was going through my camera phone pictures and found some really cute pictures of Dylan's eating experiences....he's usually really clean when he eats but he has his moments!

Dylan loves apples...but only WHOLE apples. When he was a little smaller I cut up some apple for him and he refused to eat it so we gave him a whole one to see what he did AND he ate it! Since then that's the only way he will eat apples.

Raviolis!!!! It isn't often in our house that we eat these but on those very special occasions that I'm not up to cooking this is what happens!

This is the original one and only picture of.....DYLAN'S 1ST KETCHUP DIP! Notice how careful he is being and how clean he is well it didn't last long ~ after this first time doing it so clean the next time we gave him ketchup he realized that you can dip ANYTHING in ketchup and that includes your fingers.

Potato Salad ~ Yummmm. It's the weirdest thing but this kid LOVEs potato salad ~ but not just any potato salad it has to be red potato salad. This picture was taken after he had 3 helpings of the stuff and he refused to eat anything else on his plate. He's not a picky eater he just knows what he likes.

We are soooo PROUD!

As many of you know AJ has been working really hard to do better in school and we are so proud to say that HE DID IT! Every trimester the school gives out Character Counts Awards to kids in each class that represent a certain characteristic. AJ received the "CARING" award; he got this for many reasons but the main reason was because a little while back AJ had to go to the nurses office for something, when he got there there was a really big line and AJ stepped in and helped the nurse with the kids. There was one boy in 1st grade that had a really loose tooth and he was scared because he had never lost a tooth; AJ put his arm around him and told him all about what it is like to lose a tooth and told him not to be scared. WHAT A GREAT KID! That is only a small bit of the great things AJ does; he might be a little hyper but his heart makes up for his craziness!!!

Ok we fixed it....

After a few comments about the pictures not coming out we decided to change the slide show from the Easter Pageant to color so that the pictures are easier to see..... You can tell which were taken later in the day as the pictures get a bit darker!

SunSplash

Today we went to Sun Splash for a fun day out. I want to warn everyone first off....if you get the emails or if you call you might be mis-lead a bit. When they say the waterpark is 'open' what they really mean is the small part with the bonzai, cauldron and the Dragon Tail slides are open sooooooo.....if you plan on taking little ones all there is for them is a small portion of the pool that people fall into from the bonzai. That being said we had sooooooooo much fun! And thanks to Grandma Stout we will be able to go all summer long because she got us season passes!! The boys had a ton of fun and are ready to go again Monday; we'll see about that. :)

This was Trevors first time going down the slides ~ we couldn't get him to stop! He's the head and arms coming out of the front of the left slide.

The pictures a bit blury but if you notice the little head popping out of the water...that's AJ! He's at the left slide too....

What a cutie~pie! He had so much fun in the water...like always. What do you think he was thinking in this picture???

Oooops.

Sorry the Pictures from the Pageant are so dark. I used my camera on my cell phone and I obviously didn't plan ahead for when it gets dark. We hope you enjoy what you can see!

The Boys Posing with the Actors from the Easter Pageant

We love to see the Temple......

We love going to the Temple ~ especially for the Easter Pageant! It was so beautiful and really brings a truth to your Testimony (at least mine it does). I feel so grateful that we get to see this wonderful presentation of Christ's life and hopefully everyone that has a chance sees it at least once in their lives. Last year was our first time and we ended up going twice we loved it so much. This year we're going twice again so that all of our family has a chance to see it.

My favorite part and I haven't figured out why yet is the scene when John the Baptist Baptizes Jesus and the woman. Maybe because it has only been a year since my experience of being baptized but I really love it! Everything about the whole show is great and each part of the story touches me in different ways. Our boys really love it too and they especially love having their pictures taken with the actors!

Fun in the Sun

We have been having lots of fun swimming this week! Here's AJ and Trevor being their silly selves for the camera. The water is so beautiful don't you think!?
Dylan is such a lil' fish and he has been since we can remember; HE LOVES THE WATER! He seems to be having lots of fun with his GREAT-Grandma Dirks...

Summer Movie Program

I wanted to give all our friends in the area a heads up if they didn't already know about the Summer Movie Program. This year has an awesome line up of movies for the kids and you can't beat the price @ 10 MOVIES for $7! Tickets go on sale on the 18 of April and it is 1st come first serve so you gotta be there early. If you click on the TITLE of this post it will take you to more info.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

A day at the Ball Park

We had so much fun at the game today! Padres lost :( but we still had a blast. So much fun stuff happened. 1st a ball got hit into our seats and Trevor got it! He was so excited; his 1st game ball!!! Then Peavy (only one of the greatest pitchers of all time...) came to our side and talked to AJ; he was next in line to get his ball signed and his trainer rushed him inside ~ oh well... Then the kids got this great idea to stick around next to the gate the players go through and they each ended up with 7 signatures!!!! Dylan had a lot of fun too although he wasn't very happy with his brothers because he really wanted to play with their balls and they were not about to let him touch them. All in all we had a FANTASTIC day and we can't wait to go again! GO PADRES!!!!

Here's Peavy at the mound getting ready to pitch.

Trevor was so EXCITED to catch his FIRST game ball!

Here is AJ's ball being signed by the last player of the day

AJ saved this ball from last years Spring Training game and was really excited to finally get it signed

Poor Dylan had a bit too much fun; he was out like a light before we even left the parking lot!

SPRING BREAK!!!!!

WhooooooHooooooo!!! We are so excited that this week is Spring Break....we have a ton planned so watch for pictures daily.

Here is our schedule so far: (updated 3/13)
Monday: Swimming
Tuesday: Spring Training Baseball game ~ GO PADRES!
Wednesday: Mom needs a break!
Thursday: Swimming and Temple Easter Pageant
Friday: Haven't decided ~ Horton Hears a Who
Saturday: SunSplash (we are getting season passes if anyone wants to come)
Monday (teacher workshop day): Zoo

Alot of you might be wondering "WHAT HAPPENED TO UTAH?!" Well with everyone being sick and other unexpected circumstances we decided to hold off until this Summer if we have time.

Close call but all is good

Jeff is still a bit sick; he ended up getting the flu the worst out of all of us....he had to go to the hospital last week because part of his throat and neck swelled up and he was having a hard time breathing. They put him on antibiotics and steroids and it seems to be clearing up. I realized how much we take for granted being sick; you never think about those that die from the flu (at least I don't).

I am so grateful he went to the doctor when he did because it could of ended up a lot worse than it did!
