Complete

My mind can't stop...it's been going a million miles a minute since 12:30 this afternoon when we found out we are having a baby GIRL.

I'm still not sure it's sunken in yet or that I believe it. For over 3 years we have wanted another baby and there has been a lot of waiting, let downs, losses, sadness and confusion along the way. I truly thought that my 3 boys were it and I became OK with that and happy with the way our family was. Of course there was always jealousy when a friend would announce they were pregnant...I'd wonder what was wrong with me that I couldn't have that final piece to my family puzzle but always celebrated with them and only wished the best. This year I really gave up; I'm turning 30, the boys are getting older and Dylan is starting Kindergarten. So when we found out I was pregnant I was in disbelief. Of course I was excited but it didn't seem real. To finally have that final missing puzzle piece we wanted so bad made everything PERFECT! I didn't really care at this point whether I had a girl or boy....of course I had hoped for a girl for so long and probably in the back of my mind I wanted it but I didn't expect it. Even after I was told it was a girl up until even now I'm not exactly getting excited because I don't know how to react. Of course I'm happy I just can't believe it's finally happening especially since this is our last baby.

So now my mind doesn't know where to start...there's so much to plan for. I know how to do boys I have no idea how to do girls! I don't even know how to change a girls diaper. This little girl is what our family needs right now.

She will have the best big brothers a little girl can ask for...she might get mad at them sometimes because they will be protective but she will be the center of all of their attention and never want for anything.

Her daddy is going to give her everything she wants all the time and make sure she feels like a princess always.

I can't wait to dress her up and play barbies with her, braid her hair, surprise her with special gifts just because, watch all the Disney princess movies with her, show her how to put on makeup when she's older, listen to all her secrets and hold her when she's sad...just like my mom did for me.

My life is complete!

We can't wait to meet you Adia Frances Marie Stout...your beautiful already!

We need a new blog name!!!

It's true!

Opening Day

We had a great opening day!

Lots of Baseball, cheering, sun and food.

Trevor is playing in the Minors this year and his team is the Rockies. And the catching gear he got for Christmas has been put to great use so far this season!

AJ is in Majors this year and playing for the Pirates. He played Short Stop for part of his opening day game and did a great job! He's still not sure what position he REALLY wants to play though.

The boys also wanted me to mention their prank on Jeff for April Fools day...about 7 years ago I wrapped a hair tie around the nozzle on the sink sprayer so that the trigger was pressed in and when the water was turned on it automatically sprayed water. I did this because Jeff is always taking sips from the faucet and as expected he did and got sprayed in the face! Anyway I told Trevor about it the night before April Fools and when Jeff and I came down stairs in the morning and the boys had already left guess who went to take a drink of water from the faucet and got sprayed in the face??!! NOT ME....Jeff Hahahahahahaha!

Doesn't the saying going fool me once shame on you...fool me twice shame on me!

And since I'm in a video posting mood.....

This video is of AJ's 12th birthday this last New Years Eve. It gives you a full idea of what our crazy family is like.....crying, laughing...oh and of course it wouldn't be a birthday or holiday without giving away what at least one present is. The videos about 5 min long but if you can handle the wait right around the middle you'll see what I'm talking about.
