World Wildlife Zoo

We went to the World Wildlife Zoo of Phoenix this past weekend with Jeffs parents and Sister and Lorelai. It was a lot of fun. We got to see tons of animals close up and fed the Giraffes a bunch of food!

Trevor had a super slimy hand after this!

Trevor and Grandpa Stout getting on the skyride.

And AWAY they GOooooooo.....

BrrRrrrrrr!

I think we were more amazed to find a scuba guy scrubbing the decor in the tank than with most of the animals!

This silly kitty cat growled at us

This crazy monkey was OBSESSED with Dylan...it wouldn't take it's eyes off of him

Growing up so fast!

We went to the Zoo yesterday with Grandma Stout and Jeff's sister Melissa and Lorelai! It was a ton of fun and Dylan decided to try something new....he asked to ride the Camel!!!

If you know Dylan you know he's a pretty timid and shy little guy and usually opts out of things like that but this time he asked me if he could so of course I couldn't help but say YES.

He waited so patiently for his turn

He looked so small on that GIANT CAMEL!

He's such a big kid...I'm sad he's not my little baby anymore.

When we asked him if it was fun or scary his face lit up and he said, "IT WAS FUN!"
Just another milestone I guess as he works his way to becoming more like his big brothers.

We also met a nice horsey and got a picture with him

It was a great day at the zoo and we are going again next week! Who knows what we will do on our next trip but I'm sure it will be fun.

Play Ball!!!

Baseball Season has officially started!

The boys couldn't be happier....I'm a little stressed....thank goodness Jeff works closer so he comes home for practices. I'm not getting morning sickness this time I'm getting from noon to bedtime sickness so trying to do much of anything when the boys get home is a chore including getting them to everything they need to be at. I'm so thankful for Jeff and the friends that have been helping me out.

So back to baseball. Jeff took the boys to the batting cages this last weekend. They were still a little sick but there's no arguing baseball in this family so off they went while Dylan and I stayed home. He's been the sickest and isn't taking it well at all....lot's of crying to say the least. The boys had a blast! They came home sweaty and smelly and excited to tell me all about it.

Trevor

AJ
AJ has started practice already too! He is playing for the Pirates this year....the coach said he was going for a Midwest theme. Of course it couldn't have anything to do with the fact that their assistant coach is Adam Hyzdu who played for the Pirates...oh and the Red Socks and PADRES!!!!!  If you know our family we are huge Padres fans so it's kind of a big deal although we try to act like we don't care...he is just a normal guy and his son just so happens to be on AJ's team right??!

We also found out that Trevor is going to be playing for the Rockies this year! His practice starts in March...that's when things will get really busy. Of course not as busy when next year Dylan starts T-ball so we will have 3 kids in baseball at the same time. Oh and a baby!

I'd like to make an announcement please.....

What once was 5 will soon be 6!!!

That's right we are having a BABY!!!

We are so unbelievably excited, I seriously can't believe after waiting so long we finally have a little one to look forward to again.

It was such a relief to see the little baby and the super fast heartbeat! We even got to hear it for just a second but that's all we needed. The ultrasound tech said that everything looks great, the heartbeat is perfect for it's age and is measuring right on with the dates we gave...so much relief to all my stress was given today and I am so grateful that we finally had the opportunity to see our newest addition.

I'm due September 30th....only 15 days after my 30th birthday YIKES! And if things go as they normally do I could be sharing a birthday since I have always gone 2 wks early.

And of course we are hoping for a little girl! I feel completely different this time...not really sick just queasy and nothing smells good but not SICK YET....knock on wood. Who knows my kids are all mysteries to me...I'm still trying to figure some of them out!

The boys are so excited! The older 2 cried as soon as we told them...they have been bugging me about having another little brother or sister for a long time now. Dylan isn't so sure about the whole thing but swears it's a boy because boys are cuter...HAHAHA I love him!

So now I have to wait to find out what we are having..only 11 wks to go I can handle that right?! I'm so impatient!

I just knew 2011 was going to be great!

Life in the fast lane

Life has been so crazy lately. So much going on, new surprises at every turn and a new countdown to look forward to all the time! We are all doing GREAT! Life couldn't be better.

We sign Dylan up for Kindergarten next week...where the heck did the time go???! My baby is headed into the real world...what am I going to do with myself? He's really excited so I can't help but be excited for him but I sure am going to miss him each day. I remember how fast it went once the other two started Kindergarten and now AJ is going to be in the 7th grade so it's a little hard to let go but I have 7 months until I have to actually let go....lots of time to prepare!

AJ just got back from a overnight camping trip in the SNOW!!! He loved it OF COURSE. I was worried the entire time and of course I had to forget one of the most important things that he would need in the snow...GLOVES! Bad mom award goes to me for the month of January...thank goodness the month's almost over. AJ's also been working on his lego collection...since Christmas and his Birthday he's added to his collection 8-9 new sets! The kids lego crazy!

Both AJ and Trevor have been out back working out and practicing for baseball tryouts that are coming up in a week! They have been looking forward to this since last season ended and they can't wait to get going. Of course for me this means long days at the fields....driving them to seperate practices and being the best team mom I possibly can be! I'm such a cheerleader hahaha.

Trevor is doing great too! He got to bring home the class "pet" Spirit this weekend. He's a stuffed Opposun (we always though it was Opposum but I guess we were wrong) and he had to bring him with us everywhere we went the entire time. I think Dylan loves him more than Trevor because we couldn't tear the two apart all weekend...it was kind of cute! Trevor was put into the ELP program recently and has had double the homeowork than I think he expected but he loves it so much!

We went to the zoo this weekend while AJ was camping and had a blast! I love having the passes, I think that Dylan and I are going to try and start going either weekly or every other week. We rode the train, had kettle corn, Jeff met us for lunch and we got to pet the sting rays! It was a blast! I only got a few pictures because like always I didn't bring my camera and my phone died but we have the memories!

So like I said life has been busy and it doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon for us and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I LOVE MY LIFE!!!!
