I like to look for Rainbows....

Today was such an amazing day!
Our 2nd Son made the choice to be baptized into The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints!
Trevor has been waiting for this day and has been working towards this day for quite awhile and we are so proud of him for making this choice....

We kept to tradition and Grandpa Stout (Jeffs Dad) took on the priviledge to be the one to baptize and confirm Trevor....we were very excited that he was willing to do this for Trevor. He also baptized AJ and myself when we were baptized in January 2007.
During Trevors confirmation the blessing that Richard gave was so true to him and the trials that he will face in life and I promise to Trevor that we will be here for him and along his side each step of the way.

After the children were baptized everyone that wanted to was given the opportunity to write something on a piece of paper to each of the children and they were put in a jar with their names on it. When we got home Trevor went to his room by himself and sat on his bed and read each and every one of his to himself.....he said he wanted to keep them just for him because they were important to him.

Thank you everyone that came and participated in Trevors baptism!

Thank You AJ for saying the opening prayer, Thank You Darci Cole (Sister Shumway) for singing The Baptism Song, Thank You Matt Dean for being a witness to his baptism and part of his confirmation, Thank You "Uncle" Matt for being a witness to his baptism and part of his confirmation, Thank You Brother Curtin for being a part of his confirmation and Thank You Grandpa Stout for baptizing and confirming Trevor and saying the closing prayer.

You all made Trevors day special and we appreciate all of you.

And the scripture studying has begun! Grandma and Grandpa Stout gave Trevor his first full set of scriptures in his favorite color BLUE in a holder also in his favorite color BLUE! He's enjoying flipping through the pages and finding random scriptures. Now when we read scriptures each night he doesn't have to use his moms!!!

Trevor we are so proud of you and love you so much and we know that you will continue to make Heavenly Father proud of you in everything that you do. Remember that warm feeling you felt when you received the Holy Ghost and don't let that feeling go away.
