Adia's room is FINALLY DONE!!!!!

I think I did pretty good at turning my vision into reality.  When I was a little girl we took a trip to CA with my mom and Grandparents and my Grandparents asked me what I wanted to collect because everyone in our family collected something. My Grandma... frogs and porcelain dolls, my mom...pigs (thank goodness that phase is over ha ha). So we were stopping at little side of the road outdoor shops (I don't really know what to call them...) and there was a glass unicorn and I knew that was what I wanted to collect. So from that moment on every unicorn my family found they bought it for my collection. As I got older I became more interested in fairies and the stories and magic that came with them. So then my unicorn collection became a fairy and unicorn collection. After I was married and had our first boys I decided it was time to retire my fairies and unicorns from being displayed because I was the only girl in the house and it was just weird. So I wrapped them up and put them in my hope chest in HOPE that one day I could give them to my own daughter.

AND I FINALLY GOT MY CHANCE!

I used fairies and unicorns from my hope chest to start her room and went from there!
The flowers on her wall I took off of the plastic stems and used wall putty to put them up...I might need to come up with an alternative because some have fallen off and I have had to put back up but I love it! I surrounded her name with the flowers....they look kind of hidden in the picture..it's really cute though!
My friend Cami made vinyl fairies for Adia's walls and the one above her bed is a fairy sitting on a crescent moon.

On the shelves are all of the fairies and unicorns that have made it through 13 years of moving. Not as many as I wished I could pass down to her but I'm sure her collection will grow.
I put a small book shelf in her room with cubbies for all her shoes, hair bows and bath things.
The only thing missing in her room is the changing pad that's going on her dresser.
The fairy over her dresser is my FAVORITE! I am going to have to wait for better lighting to take a better picture because what you don't see is where the fairies hand is is pink pixie dust making up the words ADIA in cursive along the wall.....SO CUTE!!!!

There's a poem about unicorns on the left and a hand drawn fairy picture on the right and a couple more vinyl fairies in her entry way.

I got dark curtains to block out light because our windows are so HUGE in our house...I was going to do a green but I wanted green to be an accent and the window is too big of a part of her room not an accent.

I HOPE SHE LOVES IT AS MUCH AS I DO!!!!

34 wks down....

Today was my 34 wk check up and everything still looks PERFCT!

Last wk I ended up going to the hospital to stop labor after 7 hrs of contractions 5 min apart. They never progressed to intolerable but I did get nauseous when I tried to eat and that's what made me call the Dr.. My Dr. said that I just need to hold off 2 1/2 wks and she would be fine with me delivering. I've always gone a couple wks early and the boys have all weighed over 8 lbs and never had issues but I've never had one that wanted out so bad that I had to have labor stopped! I'd like her to wait 4 wks so that I can finish everything I'm not getting done and putting off but she's had a mind of her own this entire pregnancy so whatever happens, happens.

Baby girl has had the hiccups NON STOP for the past 3 wks for at LEAST an hour a day and my Dr. said that it's because a girls lungs develop WAY faster than a males and hers are strong and almost ready and so she's getting the hiccups frequently. It's so weird because I NEVER felt hiccups before with the boys, I don't think even once did they have them.

I can't believe that we are so close and that she could be coming SO SOON! I think I'm in denial a little bit. It was definitely a wake up call when the Dr. said it could happen in 2 1/2 wks...how is this possible?! I'm usually so impatient and the end of the pregnancy feels like 9 months all by itself but this time I'm having a hard time staying at the pace my pregnancy is going.

Next appt is in 2 wks and then we start going to wkly appts!

First day of the 2011-2012 school year!

We woke up at 6:30 and the first thing Dylan said was, "I hate this!" UNTIL I reminded him that todays his first day of Kindergarten! Then his eyes lit up and he was up and out of bed.

His favorite breakfast for his his first day of school!

He kept blowing me kisses and telling me he loved me.

Don't forget about me mom!

First day of school OFFICIAL picture!
Dylan~Kindergarten
Trevor~5th Grade
Both of them had their outfits picked out 2 wks ago.

Cutest smile in the world!
Standing in line on the playground getting ready to go to his classroom for the first time!
This is only moments away from me losing it....
(I wish that it wasn't so crowded I think it overwhelmed him a little bit)

Trevor was over the whole thing as soon as we got to school and was gone with his friends.

As soon as I got home from walking the younger boys to school AJ was waiting for me so he could leave for his first day of 7th grade!!!!

Even saying goodbye to him was hard....

I can't believe ALL of my boys are off to school! My house is empty, there is no one saying, "Mom, Mom, Mom look, Mom, Hello Mom!!!!!"

I'm sure I will get used to the peace and quiet quick, especially since I won't be alone for long!

I can't wait to hear all about their first day of school and to get that kiss Dylan promised me!!!!

2 digits!!!

My crazy, attention craving Trevy-Trevy-Woo-Hoo is FINALLY in the 2 DIGITS!!! He turned 10 on July 29th! He has been talking about this birthday ALL summer...he didn't want a Birthday party just wanted his mom and dad to not forget (btw we have NEVER forgotten a Birthday he just likes the attention a Birthday involves ha ha!) I know that it's hard for him because he is the "middle" child and the "baby" of the family (Dylan) has a Birthday 3 days before him so I think he feels like he gets put on the side because of it. As a mom I try really hard to give each and every one of our boys the same attention for their special days and I think so far we have done well at it.

So for his Birthday he had a friend stay the night and we went to the Summer Movies and saw Cats and Dogs 2 (worse movie EVER btw) and went shopping. Trevor anxiously waited for the mail to get to our house because he was waiting on birthday cards so we came home for a bit and then it was off to meet dad for dinner at Red Robin! Jeff works so much so Trevor insisted his dad be present for his Birthday dinner and of course he was there!

Trevor is such an attention craver he always wants everyone to know he's in the room so having an entire restaurant sing to him is a annual MUST for him!

Trevor is such a kind hearted, energetic, prank pulling, athletic, handsome, RIDICULOUSLY SMART,  shy, AMAZING CATCHER IN BASEBALL, impatient, youtube searching, video making, origami folding, attention craving, puzzle solving, SELF TAUGHT GUITAR PLAYER, girl magnet, cookie baking, go with the flow and not care what others think, ORIGINAL 10 year old I know and he AMAZES me DAILY!!!

You are such a great kid Trevor and we LOVE you so much. Your a great brother and are going to be great with your new little sister! We hope you had a great day and know that our world is only complete because of YOU!!!!

My sweet boy turned 5 yesterday!
I can't believe how big he is, I swear it was just yesterday that we had him. I can still remember finding out he was a boy when he came out and how much love I felt for him the moment he was in my arms. Him and I have always had a special relationship (just like the other boys).

Dylan is so sweet, kind, gentle, SUPER SILLY, a prankster, he can hold his own against his big brothers, makes us laugh constantly, creative, likes to take pictures, VERY SMART, comes up with his own words just like his mom, ALWAYS HONEST, is excited to be a BIG brother, shy, hyper, LOUD, a great dancer, best bowler in the family on the kinect, loves his alone time, loves to play with legos, can't wait to start Kindergarten and as he puts it he's SO LOVELY!!

We LOVE our DYLAN the CHILLIN' VILLIAN!!!!

For his special day he didn't want a cake he wanted S'MORES so we melted a marshmallow and put a candle in it and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our sweet boy. He wanted to have a campout but NOT outside so Daddy managed to STUFF our tent in our family rm and the boys camped out and watched movies all night!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYL WE HOPE THAT YOUR DAY WAS AS SPECIAL AS YOU ARE!!!
