Fourth of July Eve

Jeff and I went to the Fort McDowell Fourth of July Celebration Concert last night!

It was a ton of fun RAIN and ALL!!!

Blake Shelton performed along with Casey James and Crystal Bowersox.

It was a PERFECT night...not even HOT and it rained a little which for my pregnant overheated body was a BONUS!  During Crystal Bowersox's performance lighting started and rain began to fall so they stopped the concert because they were worried about the electrical equipment so for 20 minutes everyone stood in the rain...by the time they were ready to start again it was time for Blake to take the stage (poor Crystal got one song in before her part was cancelled). Blake did a great job and we got front row in our section which was cool (although next time I will pay for assigned stage seats like we usually do) we were able to see the back of the stage from where we were and got to watch the performers interact with people and us...everyone was really nice!

If only my phone didn't stop working the day before it would have been even better because I would have gotten good pictures of the whole thing! Instead I had to use Jeff's phone which SUCKS and doesn't even have a flash so yes I know the pictures aren't good but I wanted to document our baby girls 2nd concert :)

Flogging Molly and Blake Shelton...we are trying to diversify her so she's just like her mommy!!! She had a ton of fun she was doing flips and kicking to the music the entire time!

You can totally tell this is Blake by his posture HahaHa!

Jeff is so funny I wanted to enter to win a chance for a meet and greet after the concert and he said, "No you don't need to see how tall he is. I'm 6 ft and that's good enough for you." He's such a dork...I LOVE him!

At the end there was a beautiful LONG fireworks show.

It was a GREAT and PERFECT night with my best friend!

Fossil Springs

Since I'm missing AJ ALOT right now because he's at a week long Scout camp I thought I'd post pictures from his last camping trip in June to Fossil Springs!

They had to hike 4 miles with 20+ lb backpacks on their backs to get to this site..which meant the most minimal was taken in so there were NO tents, NO stove and NO fires were allowed. Of course he LOVED it!

The water is BEAUTIFUL!
I wish the hike wasn't so loooooong because I'd love to go there!

The rocks behind the falls smoothed out and made PERFECT slides for the boys to go down!

AJ was a fish the entire time (no surprise)and survived with only bumps and bruises...and a loose permanent tooth that we are now going to have to have replaced because it fell out :( But he loved it and I'm so glad he has the chance to experience all of these amazing camping trips!

Update on Adia

Well my baby girl is still a baby girl. I'll be honest I questioned it until we had another ultrasound yesterday..now I KNOW it's true!

So the reason why we had to have another ultrasound was because she was measuring a teeny bit smaller and the Dr. couldn't see everything. No big deal the same thing happen with Dylan so it didn't really worry me. Then last week we got a call from the Dr. with some results they found on my ultrasound. My placenta is laying low right over my cervix.  They told me it was called placenta previa and that my Dr would keep an eye on it and that was that...NOT! Of course I called Jeff in tears and started researching it like crazy. What I found out is...good news first...it can fix itself and in 90% of women it does. Of course I looked at the worse case scenarios because I have to know what we might be getting into. If my placenta doesn't move out of the way we will have no choice but to have a c-section because you can't deliver your placenta first and it could cause serious complications to me and to our baby girl. My heart sank when I read this...my last baby and I won't get to experience giving birth to her (if you know me you know that as weird as people think I am this is probably my favorite part of being pregnant. I love the process and want to be a part of all of it and feel every agonizing minute...for me it's not really agonizing but you know what I mean). Maybe I am being selfish because really having this isn't that big of a deal compared to what else could be wrong so I'm trying not to dwell on it or feel bad for "what could happen".  At the ultrasound yesterday Adia looked great and good news is the placenta moved what the Dr. said was a "smidge" and that was in only 2 wks. We have another ultrasound in 5 weeks to see if there has been a significant change and hopefully the placenta will have moved out of the way of my cervix and things will go on as normal. If not I'm ok with that too I understand it's not in my hands and the only thing that really matters is that our baby girl is safe and healthy.

(mommy 20 wks pregnant)

Hopefully you can tell what you are looking at. It's her face and at the top she has her hand in a fist.
Dylan got to see her and she was playing a game with him as soon as he started looking at the screen trying to figure out what he was seeing she started waving to him...so cute!

Oh and we've had a couple people ask how you pronounce her name so hopefully my explanation helps

Complete

My mind can't stop...it's been going a million miles a minute since 12:30 this afternoon when we found out we are having a baby GIRL.

I'm still not sure it's sunken in yet or that I believe it. For over 3 years we have wanted another baby and there has been a lot of waiting, let downs, losses, sadness and confusion along the way. I truly thought that my 3 boys were it and I became OK with that and happy with the way our family was. Of course there was always jealousy when a friend would announce they were pregnant...I'd wonder what was wrong with me that I couldn't have that final piece to my family puzzle but always celebrated with them and only wished the best. This year I really gave up; I'm turning 30, the boys are getting older and Dylan is starting Kindergarten. So when we found out I was pregnant I was in disbelief. Of course I was excited but it didn't seem real. To finally have that final missing puzzle piece we wanted so bad made everything PERFECT! I didn't really care at this point whether I had a girl or boy....of course I had hoped for a girl for so long and probably in the back of my mind I wanted it but I didn't expect it. Even after I was told it was a girl up until even now I'm not exactly getting excited because I don't know how to react. Of course I'm happy I just can't believe it's finally happening especially since this is our last baby.

So now my mind doesn't know where to start...there's so much to plan for. I know how to do boys I have no idea how to do girls! I don't even know how to change a girls diaper. This little girl is what our family needs right now.

She will have the best big brothers a little girl can ask for...she might get mad at them sometimes because they will be protective but she will be the center of all of their attention and never want for anything.

Her daddy is going to give her everything she wants all the time and make sure she feels like a princess always.

I can't wait to dress her up and play barbies with her, braid her hair, surprise her with special gifts just because, watch all the Disney princess movies with her, show her how to put on makeup when she's older, listen to all her secrets and hold her when she's sad...just like my mom did for me.

My life is complete!

We can't wait to meet you Adia Frances Marie Stout...your beautiful already!
