Old Tucson was AMAZing!!!

We headed to Tucson on Wednesday for a 2 day trip. Our first stop was Old Tucson; the kids have wanted to go since we first moved here and I have to admit I have too! It was a lot of fun and the history there is amazing. So many movies were filmed there - we were especially excited to see all the John Wayne history because my Papa (Grandpa) is the worlds BIGGEST John Wayne fan in history and it was fun to see some of the props and sites where his movies were filmed. The shows were a lot of fun too; during The 3 Amigos show one of the guys had a bundle of dynamite and handed it to Dylan! When he took it back from him Dylan got really upset because he wanted it to play with! It was so funny and he had the whole crowd laughing....

A day at Colossal Canyon!

This was an awesome place to go! The kids really enjoyed the tour through the cave and learned so much at the same time. We had originally planned to go to the Desert Museum but when we found out about this we had to do it..... There are tons of pictures to look at so be patient and enjoy because some of the pictures are amazing and if you look closely you can see shapes of things like a witch!

Moms Last Night...... :(

For my moms last night we went to Alice Cooperstown!

We wanted to go so bad and we actually planned on going Memorial Day Monday BUT.... they were closed :( None the less we made it and it was AWESOME!!!!

The only bummer about our visit to Cooperstown was that we found out that Alice Cooper was there THE DAY BEFORE! Not only that but they were filming an episode of No Reservations on the travel channel with Anthony Bourdain! If you haven't seen the show it's very cool!

We're sooooo EXCITED and we just can't hide it!

SUMMER VACATION IS COMING!!!

The boys are so excited for Summer Vacation....we've really tried hard this year to keep them busy with lots of fun stuff!

Here's a few things we have planned:

May 24rd-May 31st ~ Grandma Dar is coming!!!

We have tons planned for each day she is here

June 16th-June 21st ~ Disneyland here we come!!!

We've planned a great trip and we can't wait to see Uncle Dan and Aunt Carol who have been nice enough to share their home with us. We are especially excited to see our great friends Stacie and Paige from Oregon!

July 3rd ~ Mandi is coming!!!

Our niece Mandi is coming from WA to stay with us for part of her Summer Vacation! We have planned so much fun stuff to do while she is here ~ hopefully she can handle the HEAT!!
